Celebrating Indian culture with fashion, arts & crafts, exhibitions, cuisine, and performances
Prepare to be dazzled by the richness of Indian Culture! The 25th Annual Festival of India is set to take place on October 12-13, 2019 from noon to 8pm each day at the Belk Theater on 130 North Tryon in Charlotte. The festival is organized by the India Association of Charlotte, a cultural organization established to serve the growing Indian American Community in the Charlotte area. For the last twenty-five years this event has drawn thousands of visitors from all around the Charlotte and vicinity. This is a great family event where students will find the event educational while adults will find it entertaining. This festival showcases diversity of Indian food, art, dance, music and Bollywood entertainment. Don't miss out fun for all ages including yoga demo, get a henna tattoo, dance on the street to live pulsating music and so much more.
